I am beginning the plans of a new house... electrical, plumping, LAN, security, and Home automation. And one of the first new toy that I bought was a label maker. Yes my new exciting label making will instantly make me a wiring guru and first class professional.

Mobile Barcoder - USA missing more cellphone features

It seems that I am constantly amazed by two things: The really cool features found on overseas mobile phones and 2) that US phones are constantly lagging behind.
With the way that US markets devour techie gadgets with disposable incomes, I am always surprised that companies don't include these features right away. Even 6-12 months later would be one thing, normally "IF" the US gets a feature it will be about 2 years after the fact. Read more »

I have been needing a new cellphone for about 3 months. Mine and my wife's was slowly dying. I had been with t-mobile for almost 4 years, without an upgrade. But I ended up switching to Cingular for 2 main reasons: 1) T-Mobile did not carry any exciting new tech mobiles. For being a European based company most of their phones more Motorolas and lack many advanced features. 2) They would not give me much of anything for a new mobile upgrade.
