As either a professional traveler, or a serious drinker, you may want to blend in with the locals. What better way then to share a drink and toast in the local language. Also if you are throwing a party and have  featured drink, make the evening even better by introducing your guests to the toast that goes along with their drink.

Oh sweet vindication. I go to the dentist every couple of years, just never had the desire to go more regularly. And I never ask to see the actual dentist as I trust the technician to spot potential issues. I tried to see the preview for Cloverfield last night. My brother got there 45min early to save a place in line and we missed it by 10 people. The Paramount rep handed out fliers that said if you go to www.gofobo.com you can register for free preview passes that get emailed to you (print on your PC with a bar code). Sounded like a cool idea, Hoorah Hollywood! But if you go to the site its locked down!

Well I love the Koenigsegg Story which supposidely holds the world's record for the fastest speeding ticket in a car. But I just found this story about the fastest motorcycle ticket.

Please oh please, no matter how much time you 'think' it will save both of us don't leave a voice message to me on Google Chat. I love to use Google products and sure I get excited when new features come out but it doesn't mean that you have to use all of them.

There is a reason why I have and use chat both on my laptop, desktop and Blackberry. There is a reason I have dozens of email addresses and yes there is a reason I only have ONE phone.

Okay maybe it's just me but I thought the Bionic Woman was like bionically strong or something. But after watching a few shows I think her software has a glitch. I say a glitch because that is the only way that I can rationalize what I see on the screen. You see one minute she can kick in this huge metal door or bend steel but then she has to kick and punch the same bad guy like 20 times. Do you sense some discontinuity?

The problem is a miscomunication. Shopping to a man means an entirely different thing than shoppng for a girl. Sure we hear it all of the time, men hate to shop. But actually that is simlpy not true. Men love to shop. We adore shopping. We crave the textile feel of new things in our fingertips. Confussed?

If you want flowers (an organic gift that typically costs over $50 and 'dies' about 5 days later) you better tell us and give some directions. Sure we can assume, based on cultural references and the overwhelming desire for our own 'personal favors', that you might want flowers but face it... its just not something that makes sense. They die. Dead, wilted masses of organic waste that get thrown out a few days after purchase.

Guy Rule - Just because we do something once doesn't mean we have to always do it.

Yes we do like being nice. In fact it is nice to be nice, but just because one day we take the time to do the dishes or fold the laundry does not mean that we have to do it every day going forward. It takes away the 'specialness' of the nice act when it automatically becomes an expectation.
