Please don't Voicemail my Google Chat

Please oh please, no matter how much time you 'think' it will save both of us don't leave a voice message to me on Google Chat. I love to use Google products and sure I get excited when new features come out but it doesn't mean that you have to use all of them.

There is a reason why I have and use chat both on my laptop, desktop and Blackberry. There is a reason I have dozens of email addresses and yes there is a reason I only have ONE phone.

I really hate voicemail. Can't you just send a short text? I understand if you are driving and can't type. But come on its Google Chat! Its a dead giveaway that you are at a Keyboard!

Google says in the new voicemail blog that users can leave 10 minute messages. Nice. I had chills run down my spine when I read that. Same kind of feeling I get when I see a PowerPoint presentation with 500 words on each slide... there has to be a better way then wasting my time.
