Guy Rule - Once doesn't mean always

Guy Rule - Just because we do something once doesn't mean we have to always do it.

Yes we do like being nice. In fact it is nice to be nice, but just because one day we take the time to do the dishes or fold the laundry does not mean that we have to do it every day going forward. It takes away the 'specialness' of the nice act when it automatically becomes an expectation.

 

Now if the you do 'want to go there' then there are plenty of things that we are able to beg and grovel just to get you to do once or twice a year. That could easily be changed to a daily basis. Does it work both ways? Somehow I think not. Just a wild guess but this automation is a one way process.
