My new Sony Ericsson w600i cellphone

I have been needing a new cellphone for about 3 months. Mine and my wife's was slowly dying. I had been with t-mobile for almost 4 years, without an upgrade. But I ended up switching to Cingular for 2 main reasons: 1) T-Mobile did not carry any exciting new tech mobiles. For being a European based company most of their phones more Motorolas and lack many advanced features. 2) They would not give me much of anything for a new mobile upgrade. It was cheaper to switch than to buy a new phone. I ended up with a great Sony Ericsson w600i. The features that interested me the most:
- Multiple numbers per contact - Motorola has only one
- POP3/IMAP support so I can read email on the go
- Quad Band - world phone
- Bluetooth for desktop PC sync
- MP3 player - plays my audio books and podcasts
- Video player - watch my shows on the go
- 1.3 mp camera - I can take shots of text and read it later.
Like my usual self I researched everywhere on how to buy my new phones and service. Cingular's stores all offer the exact same price so I knew I would buy online. Amazon, Let's Talk and Tiger Direct offer the best deals and most reliable service at the time.
I chose Tiger Direct because they offered 2 free phones with a family plan and two free bluetooth wireless headsets with my phones. I ported my old T-Mobile numbers over and about 5 days later the phones arrived at my door. The phones auto-activated just 2 days later and the numbers ported perfectly! I am surprised that when I called T-Mobile to cancel that they did not ask any questions regarding why I switched. I would believe that these questions would be key to building future relationships. Here is an example of my mobile's camera.
I am a bit disappointed that there is so much grainy texture to the image but I will just have to wait until I can afford one of Sony's new 2-3mp mobiles like the w850i.
