The World's Greatest Guy has found a great deal for big travelers. Here is the run down.

Starwood Properties, AKA Sheraton, has one of the world's greatest guest reward programs, with many partners that help you get free points.

  • $1 spent at the Hotel = 2 Starpoints (3 for Gold members)
  • 1,000 Starpoints can get you an upgrade to a Specialty Room or Suite
  • Stay just 10 times (or 25 nights) a year, and earn Gold status

With American Airlines, you can transfer up to 99,999 Starpoints® into AAdvantage® Miles at a 1-to-1 ratio. And for every 20,000 Starpoints transferred you'll earn 5,000 bonus Starpoints, which will be automatically added to your transfer. There is no minimum point transfer requirement for Platinum members. Gold members have a minimum point transfer of 1,500 Starpoints and Preferred members have a minimum point transfer of 2,500.

Buy a gift certificate at one of there partners and get free points. Typically 100 points per dollar spent! And if you used a rewards credit card to make the purchases you could earn extra points!!!
